Amanda is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise with a specialty in strength and functional training. Amanda’s love for strength training started when she was just 14 years old, when she began competing in powerlifting in the USA Powerlifting (USAPL) and Wisconsin High School Powerlifting Association (WHSPA). She competed for all four years of her high school career and two years in college as well. After Amanda graduated high school, she began assistant coaching for her alma mater, Necedah Area High School. Amanda decided after her sophomore year of college to stop competing in powerlifting and focus all of her energy on coaching.
Amanda enjoys coaching in a group and individual setting which has led her to begin personal training. She has worked with a variety of ages as well as individuals with special needs. Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and understands the importance of creating individualized work out plans. Her passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom and into the weight room.
When Amanda is not training at the gym, you can find her teaching early childhood and special education, playing intramural sports, traveling, or watching movies.
Amanda understands the importance of making a sustainable active lifestyle and she is ready to help you commit to one too.
