Kristin found her love for health and fitness at a young age. When she was four years old, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and knew learning how to exercise would have a a positive impact on her own health. Kristin participated in track, volleyball and cheer through all of high school. Although she loved a variety of sports, her heart is most into running, which is her hobby of choice to this day!
Kristin knew she wanted to help others live an active lifestyle and improve their wellbeing. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotions at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a focus on disease prevention and functional fitness. Upon graduation, Kristin began training and teaching classes to adults participation in pain management and disease prevention programs. Working alongside other health professionals, she developed programs for patients living with chronic conditions, such as fibromyalgia, arthritis and back pain.
Kristin has taught a variety of classes such as Pilates, TRX, and HIIT which has helped her clients get stronger, healthier, and feel confident in their abilities. She believes people of every age group and fitness level can benefit from strength, mobility and functional fitness training. Whether you are looking for improved posture and balance or strength and endurance, making sure your body is moving effectively and efficiently is the first step. Kristin’s goal is to make sure her clients feel strong inside and outside of the gym so no goal is unreachable. She believes it is not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years!
