Matty received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from UW-Platteville. While there, he played two years of football and rugby and was also a weight room supervisor. He continued on and trained for Amateur Powerlifting and has always loved fitness. Because of this passion, he changed careers and became a Certified Personal Trainer through NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness). He is a certified R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor and teaches Impact (Kickboxing) classes as well. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as camping, snowboarding, swimming, lifting weights, martial arts (taekwondo and ninjustsu), golf, football, and bowling. One of Matty’s favorite quotes is “fitness is like marriage, you can’t cheat on it and expect it to work”. Matty teaches his clients “work as hard in your diet as you do in the gym” as well as “working out is not about having time, it’s about making time”. Matty is available for one-on-one training, small group training, and instructs Biggest Loser Group Training Classes. For more information about training with Matty, contact him at 414-525-2389.
